What We Do
The Big Dreams Bedding Foundation believes every child deserves the comfort and security of a good night’s sleep, and that good sleep has a significant impact on a child's ability to learn and focus. Our mission is to provide beds and bedding to children in need within the communities we serve, ensuring they have a safe, cozy place to dream big. Through initiatives like our “Buy a Bed, Give a Bed” program and partnerships with local organizations such as DFCS, we help foster families, low-income households, and children facing challenging circumstances. By delivering tangible support, we aim to bring comfort, hope, and brighter tomorrows—one bed at a time.

Who We Are
Since entering the mattress business in 1999, founder Kelly Charles has seen firsthand the challenges families face when trying to provide their children with a quality bed. Too often, parents are forced to choose mattresses that are too cheap to properly support a young, growing body—or, heartbreakingly, leave empty-handed because they can’t afford even the most basic option. We’ve also welcomed foster parents into our Big Mattress Outlet stores, eager to open their hearts and homes but struggling to find an affordable bed for the children they’re bringing in.
At Big Dreams Bedding Foundation, we believe every child deserves a warm, comfortable bed to call their own. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to care for the children in need in the communities that have supported us for so many years. Together, we’re bridging the gap—helping kids dream big and wake up ready to take on the world.
